AbstractGerontechnology has witnessed an explosion of largely unregulated devices intended for the benefit of older adults. These devices include games, reminders, tracking tools, and many more, but few regulations regarding their efficacy and safety exist. What role should Gerontechnologists play regarding establishing standards to protect the consumer?
